Thanks for the welcome, and once again for the responses!
I made the changes OpalRose suggested. Much better sleep last night. Not perfect, but nonetheless a big improvement. Seems mysterious that I went roughly five months on the default/auto settings, and did really well. Nonetheless, I'm so grateful to have this forum as a great source of reference and wisdom. Here's to a great week, everyone!

Remember that it may take some time to find the right pressure settings, plus there are always other things that play into a good nights sleep. Post another graph in a few days if you have problems.

RE: Waking up in the middle of the night
After using the P10 pillows for a few months, I found that I needed to clean them. I now wash (using unscented baby shampoo and soaking for 15 minutes) the pillows and short tubing daily and am careful to scrub the exhale vents with a small toothbrush (like the manufacturer's manual advises and I missed) in the am so all of it can dry all day. This has made a huge difference for me. The irritating plastic smell has decreased significantly and facial swelling is down. (There is a long thread regarding these vents in this forum: search AirFit P10 vent blocked.) Might help, can't hurt.

I'll certainly focus more on the vents when cleaning...thanks!

We likely spend decades with disrupted sleep that gets progressively worse until we get a machine and start to do something about it. Our bodies were conditioned to keep waking up so we could breathe, and that became our new normal. The CPAP machine comes along and it takes a while for the body to adjust. To realize that it's okay to keep sleeping, and there's no need to keep waking up. The process continues for months or even years, I think.

RE: Waking up in the middle of the night
Sunday night was a great improvement, and last night....YUGE! Riding the train to work this morning I probably got a bit too much satisfaction from seeing a 97 on my 'MyAir' app.
Thanks VERY MUCH for the generosity of your wisdom and experience. Recognizing this is a journey, I can say I've learned more in the past week than in the prior nine months. Starting to connect the dots and answer the "Why...?" is almost as satisfying as seeing > six hours of sleep on the meter. Thanks again!

A posting issue.
You should not be using attachments. Because of the limited space allowed here we prefer to use an external site to store images. This will also preserve history (you will not need to delete the old/history to post the current images). IMGUR is the hosting service that most of us prefer to use though any other is acceptable. Thanks, Fred. I assumed that was cleared up on page 1, where I demonstrated that I learned the preferred method. Please feel free to pull the attachments from my original post. As a longtime admin on many other phpBB, myBB, and vBulletin forums, if we should not be using attachments, may I also suggest removing the ability for users to do so?
