Think I might be in trouble... Help? [CA and PB increasing]

Think I might be in trouble... Help? [CA and PB increasing]
At night I seem to be thrashing, waking up in the middle of the night, often unable to go back to sleep. I seem to have a sinus infection, which may be related, but maybe not, as my sinuses are clear at night and in the morning. The infection appears to have started about a month ago. SleepyHead shows more and more CA and PB events over the past 10 or so days, last night was one of my worst.

I could sure use some advice. I've attached two images, one main view, and one close up of one of the PB episodes.

Your CA events are still under 5 and your overall AHI is, too. That means data wise, you're doing okay.

But how you FEEL counts in there, too.

Have you seen a doc about the possible sinus infection? They are not curable by time or rinses. Only antibiotics can fix them. You can try a nasal rinse before bed to see if it helps keep it clear overnight.

There's a lot of things that go into a night's sleep. Medications, alcohol, stress, illness, mattress, pillow, atmosphere, work, physical labor, etc etc etc.

I’ve seen my ENT twice, and am on my third round of antibiotics and steroids.

On looking at the side effects of the curent antibiotic (Levaquin), I’m thinking it could be causing this.

Anytime you have a sickness that is over and above your normal state, you can expect some rise.  You are correct in keeping a close eye on it.  As Paula indicated you can use AHI % as a threshold for a closer look.  That said if you need help minimizing your symptoms anytime is a good time for that.

My baseline AHI is usually between 1 & 2 with therapy, the past two nights the total is up to 5.3.

By chance are you coughing? This can lead to false events.

There’s some coughing before I go to bed, but coughing isn’t waking me up, though that doesn’t mean much.
