Need to make decision Pro/Elite vs Auto CPAP
#11
RE: Need to make decision Pro/Elite vs Auto CPAP
VFor my first Rx a few weeks ago, I was a bit surprised when my sleep doc asked why I wanted him to write an Rx for an APAP instead of a CPAP - I have no doubt he already knew the advantages of APAP, so I was wondering why was he even asking - and why would he care? But when I recited the reasons already mentioned above by the other posters, he didn't push back at all and wrote an Rx for an APAP. I guess my point is that you should be prepared with the reasons just in case you get any questions.

Glad you're on your way to getting the APAP. You'll be getting a better machine and better therapy with it. And you'll be happier with this unit.
