Aha moment S9 VS Intellipap 2

I recently switched from my S9 autoset to the Intellipap 2 Auto and could not figure out why my AHi went from less than one to between 2 and 2.5
I was looking at the settings and they were the same in terms of max and min etc and was scratching my head.

Then I dug into the 2 clinicians manuals

It seems Resmed counts  OA as a reduction in flow of more than 90% for >10 seconds and Hypopneas as a greater than 50% reduction for >10 seconds.
Intellipap  2  does them at 75% and 40% respectively hence it is set to be more sensitive. The Intelliaps 2 is also adjustable so I can change the settings to match.

Mystery solved, I think?

Your explaination makes sense.
As an experiment, did you try to match the Intellipap 2 event definitions to match the S9?
