Resuming CPAP, using OSCAR, appreciate help!

Resuming CPAP, using OSCAR, appreciate help!
I am trying to get serious about CPAP after years of ignoring and would really appreciate your insight into fine-tuning my machine. I am overwhelmed by the information in this board and amazed at users' generosity with advice. I was very discouraged when I last attempted to resolve my OSA. My doctor when I had my last test six years ago was underwhelming to say the least, and when I was referred to a dentist for an orthotic device they botched it three times and I gave up. Here's the results from that sleep study.

[attachment=58795]

I've been forcing myself to use my CPAP machine for the entire night for the past two weeks. I am a notorious mouth-breather at night and had been trying to use a full-face mask, but it was a disaster with horrible leakage and multiple events. I have switched to the nasal pillows with a chin strap and have been much more successful. I have attached OSCAR grabs from the past two nights. On the first night, I had EPR off and had a lot of flow limit events, and I may have had issues by lying on my back. On the second night, I added EPR and upped the pressure, and tried to make a conscious effort to not be on my back at any time.

I do see improvements in the AHI and am encouraged by that, but my dream is to be able to sleep through the night without waking up multiple times, which is something that has always been the case with me. I still feel like I have a hard time falling asleep, staying asleep, and don't feel refreshed in the mornings. If any of you have any suggestions on how I may get closer to that by adjusting settings, please let me know. And obviously, I am open to going to visiting ENTs to get more help based on your insight, thought last year they did not seem to think my mouth-breathing was related to issues in my sinus passages.

Welcome to Apnea Board,

Looking at these 2 OSCAR charts, you can see benefits from the higher pressure range and EPR 3. The first chart that was capped at 12 was not enough to treat. This second chart, flow limits are more controlled, events are a bit better, positive direction.

The big negative is possibly leak control. Several things affect leaks, mask type (pillows, nasal, full), cushion size, brand can affect things too, then the strap adjusting method you use. Also would be whether there's mouth leaking or not. Take a look at the wiki on the Mask Primer.
Mask Primer

Positional Apnea

Attach OSCAR, etc.
