What should a normal flow rate and pulse rate look like?

RE: What should a normal flow rate and pulse rate look like?
mesenteria: I guess my concern/curiosity is if the spikes and lulls of my heart rate are normal or specific to apneas, as I have them with and without the bipap

Sleeprider: This is a really interesting topic about sleep aids; as I would have thought they act as a depressant and make CSA worse.
I took ambien many years ago, but cant remember how I was on it, I think I had some instances of sleep walking.

I also tried Xanax a few years ago, and had so much energy after 5 hours of sleep, but that might have been due to psychosis that it caused, or some other drug interaction. I vaguely remember trying 1mg, which seems high compared to a starting dose of 0.25mg

My point about the possible use of a sleep aid, it that it is a good thing if it increases events that will be treated by ASV anyway, and it is also good if you sleep. If they actually improve your AHI then not so much. Try ahead of time so you know what to expect.
