RE: Help choosing a FFM?
I have recently gone from a Fisher & Paykel Eson nose mask to the ResMed Airfit F20 and am having great success with it.
The "InfinitySeal" silicone mask seals 100% every time with ease, the vent system is also much quieter than the Eson mask was.
I considered the F30, and the AirTouch F20, but having used the silicone Eson for about 4 years without having to replace it I decided I wanted to stick with silicone again (with care and gentle cleaning using a mild detergent they will last far longer than the manufacturers say they will).
The only thing to be aware of is that they have magnetic clip straps.. and will disrupt a heart pacemaker, so a definite NO if you have one implanted.
- They are not spelling/grammar errors.. I live in Australia, we do it differently Down Under

RE: Help choosing a FFM?
Many, many thanks to all! Weighing all the advice up, I'm going to start my quest with the F20 Air Fit (plus mask liner and strap covers), then move on to the Mirage Liberty if the F20 doesn't work out.
Meanwhile, the drool problem seems to have stopped after two weeks, as suddenly as it started. Maybe the idea of a FFM scared the spit out of me! At any rate, I'm going to get a FFM anyhow so I'm ready for all eventualities.
Again, really appreciate all the help!
