Which Software
I see that there are a number of different software programs available. Can someone advise me on which one is most suitable.

RE: Which Software
If you have a Windows based computer, you can use either software.
If you have a Mac without a Windows partition, SleepyHead is your only option. There isn't a Mac version of ResScan software. RE: Which Software
One difference between SleepyHead and ResScan is that with ResScan, you can make machine setting changes from within the software; with SleepyHead, you cannot.

ResScan is the only (Windows) program you can use if you have any required reporting requirements, such as employer, usage compliance for insurance/Medicare, etc. SleepyHead is not useful for that, as it will not be accepted by most entities requiring such reporting.

RE: Which Software
I use both. They both have their strong points and their weak points. Used together, the strong offsets the weakness.

RE: Which Software
To piggy-back on this thread a bit..
I am still using Sleephead 8.8-3 test and would like to download the latest Sleephead version.. Can I leave the older version and download the newer version, or would it be best to delete the old version entirely and start fresh with the newer 9.2 or whatever?

RE: Which Software
I'm using only ResScan software and don,t find it necessary to use every available software otherwise its confusing

RE: Which Software
With SleepyHead being Beta at best, I suggest uninstalling it.
Move your data folder (if there is one?) to another location or copy it. Then uninstall the old one, update the new one, and see if it can read your old data. It should, of course. In case it doesn't, you can reinstall the old one and still have the data.
