Will SleepyHead function properly on Mac OS/X High Sierra 10.13.4?
I put off for a long time installing SleepyHead because many programs are reported to not work on High Sierra although they worked with Sierra, and I knew I would eventually be forced to upgrade to High Sierra and didn't want to have a mess.
Well now I had to do the upgrade so I am ready to install SleepHead if some other folks have already found it to work with High Sierra. I was going go just ask he developer but he seems to be taking a break for awhile now.
Has anyone else here found that SleepyHead does or doesn't work with High Sierra?

I have been using SleepyHead with a DreamStation Pro since April 2016 when SleepyHead was first updated to work with the DreamStation series and with a ResMed A10 Auto since December 2017. It has worked well with both machines with all versions of the Mac OS, including the current High Sierra 10.13.4. I would recommend installing SleepyHead. It is the far better than the manufacturer's software.

Thank you very much for the confirmation that it works with High Sierra 10.13.4 pupcamper and others who responded!
I do see now that I do have a steep learning curve ahead of me after briefly reviewing "
RobySue's
Beginner's Guide to SleepyHead"!
Not the least of which is the warning about deviating from the ResMed 12:00 Noon Model (which it says click here to learn more) but clicking there doesn't seem to produce more information.
With respect to that 12 Noon Model, a long time ago when I first got the machine, I had an issue where I had changed the time and date to the local time and date on the other side of the world where I spend a great deal of my time rather than the time and date where I got the machine.
After awhile I learned that I could erase all data and reset the time and date to where I got the machine from (Hawaii) so I did reset the time and date to Hawaii because anyway the CDMA transmittal features in a US based machine don't work in the country where I am spending much of my time, so ResMed or my provider would never see the data anyway created while I used the machine in that location anyway unless it was saved to an SD card since it can't be transmitted wirelessly.
So the result of that is that since the time zone here is six hours later plus one day later than Hawaii, if I have the machine set to "1 Day" so I can monitor each night's results myself on the machine, it I awake or get up later than 6:00 AM here (which is 12:00 Noon of the previous day in Hawaii) the machine will treat any time after 06:00 as a new "night" and the machine will say on the panel for example that I used it for 1 hour 30 minutes if I get up at 07:30. So the data visible on the panel isn't terrible useful.
I guess the data on the SD card using the ResMed Noon model it may consider the time from 06:00 AM yesterday to 06:00 today as one day or sleep period, even though it is actually the end of one night's sleep period and the beginning and most of a different night's sleep period.
I am hoping that with SleepyHead I will be able to combine those "nights" or sleep periods to resemble actually the periods from when I start using it on a given evening until I get up the next morning.
Do you think that will be possible? Maybe it doesn't really matter?
Another related issue is that I have gotten in the habit of pressing the button to stop the air from blowing when I get up several times a night to use the restroom and disconnecting the mask from the hose with a quick disconect and then upon returning snap the hose back on the mask again and press the button to start the airflow again. Will this be ignored by the SleepHead Data and not be considered a new sleep period each time I go to the restroom?
At present there is no SD Card in the machine because the last time I took it to the Sleep Medicine Doctor and her technicians took the machine someplace to retrieve the data they claimed there was no SD Card in it, which is mysterious since I am 100% sure there was, but I have another ResMed extra SD card around here someplace, so I'll have to find it once I get SleepyHead installed.
Thanks for your help!

biyahero,
Any 2Gb-32Gb SD card will work with your Resmed. It does not have to be the Resmed Brand.

RE: Will SleepyHead function properly on Mac OS/X High Sierra 10.13.4?
Thanks Crimson Nape for letting me know that any SD card will work!
I know I have a spare ResMed branded one around here... I just need to look around a little to find it
What I really want to use is the Toshiba FlashAir W-03 card I bought awhile back and was waiting until the issue with whether SpeepyHead would work with High Sierra or not was resolved to try to set it up and use it.
Now that I know that SleepHead will work, I need to go back to the threads about the FlashAir and see if I can get that working. If I do that and get it working do you think I should remove it when I take the machine to my Sleep Medicine Doctor because maybe when her technicians take it out to read the data it will get messed up?
That way either I could print out the SleepHead data and hand it to the Doctor, or the technicians will just have access to the data that may be stored in the machine, but wouldn't be able to mess up the FlashAir.
RE: Will SleepyHead function properly on Mac OS/X High Sierra 10.13.4?
I keep a standard sd card in my Mac’s card reader and import the information from the FlashAir card to it. I have a 32gb FlashAir card so I used a 32gb standard card. I import the data into SleepyHead from the card in the computer. This gives me a backup of my data and a duplicate card, other than the FlashAir, to take to my sleep doctor or DME. I don’t take the machine in. Your sleep doctor may not accept a printout from SleepyHead. It may be a good idea to find out what they need in advance.
SleepyHead will display the same 12 noon model your machine does. It does have a way to shift the time to allow for clock drift on the cpap machine. I’m not sure that would affect how the day is reported. The restroom breaks will not be shown as a new day. They will be displayed as a break in the data on the day they occurred.
Sleep well.
RE: Will SleepyHead function properly on Mac OS/X High Sierra 10.13.4?
I definitely would not take my FlashAir to the Doc's office. Somebody there might like it more than you. Like pupcamper said, keep a (cheap) SD card around and copy the contents of the FlashAir to it when you go to the doctor.
RE: Will SleepyHead function properly on Mac OS/X High Sierra 10.13.4?
I use a PC not a Mac but I leave the sd card in my pc use flashpap to copy the data to the SD card I can take the SD card into the sleep clinic if needed and I can use it to feed data into resscan to share graphs with them as well.
