What report from SleepyHead for FAA?

Does anyone have experience with required PAP reports for FAA?

The wording on the requirement states "A copy of the cumulative annual PAP device report which shows actual time used (rather than a report typically generated for insurance providers which only shows if use is greater or less than 4 hours). Target goal should show use for at least 75% of sleep periods and an average minimum of 6 hours use per sleep period."

What report would be most responsive from SleepyHead software?

I haven't been fit to fly since before I started CPAP. So, I'm not certain.
First, I think ResScan should be used as Sleepyhead has disclaimers that may render it unaccptable to the FAA med examiner.

ResScan can create a 1 year report with total hours, average hours used, median hours used.

Will your aeromedical examiner even accept a report that's self generated? They may require a report signed by an MD.

The medical clinic where I am a nurse does FAA physicals.
we have a card reader for SD cards and 2 web sites that we can use
do download the data. We print a one month compliance report for
the patient.

We electronically upload the physical to the FAA, however unlike the DOT where the doctor determines fitness to drive, we must mail
hard copies of the compliance reports to the regional office for them
to review and determine if this is a problem.

The bad thing is this can take from 3-6 weeks. check with your flight surgeon and see if they can download your report in the office

Thanks, Matthew and others. I emailed a Summary Monthly and Standard page from SH to the AME and asked if that was sufficient for class III SI (OSA) renewal or if I needed to provide daily data for the whole past year. He said those reports are sufficient, so we shall see on Monday. i'm thinking I may take my SD card and my laptop with SH to the appointment, just in case.

You can import the SD data into SH and leave the card at home. You already heard what I had to go through. My AME was satisfied, wrote me up a new medical and sent it all to OKC. If things go the way they normally do, I'll get the FAA approval letter sometime in Jan. If I hear back sooner, it means something went wrong.
