The AirSense 11 is far superior to any Philips machine, so that’s my home unit, and I use the DS2 for travel. It’s not too much bigger to carry than the DS Go was, a little thicker plus the power brick. So far it’s working for me.
We received a reconditioned DS1 and new DS2 as our bedside replacements from Phillips. They're currently both on a closet shelf. However, we are planning to donate them to a charity organization in the future.
As you, we find our AS11 units to be far superior. Our immediate travel solution was the purchase of spare 110V adapters to make things easier. Our AS11 units pack straight into our suitcases quite easily, they really aren't a major inconvenience. Of course, true travel units are preferred for a few different reasons. Hopefully, ResMed will release a redesign of the Mini, accommodating the Freedom series of masks.
