airsense/aircurve interchangeability info

after getting a machine that had issues, i was looking into seeing how to disassemble the "air" line of resmed machines. it isn't extremely difficult, but i chose to return the problem machine.

one thing i was wondering is if the entire motherboard assemblies are interchangeable? as in, if i have an as 10 lying arounf, can i put the motherboard of the ac10 in that machine, thereby turning the as 10 into an aircurve? the connections all look the same.

i know the blower motors and compatible, as are all the other parts. this is just a motherboard query.

Yes, the motherboards are the same. By placing an AS10 motherboard in a AC10 case, you will have a gray bodied AS10. It is the firmware that determines its model type.
