n30i Airtouch nasal cushion
Hi, all. I'm pretty new here - been lurking a bit, and learning, since receiving my CPAP in late October. I'm still tinkering a bit with settings and will post some OSCAR charts in a day or so for suggestions.
I wanted to share my thoughts on the new cushion as it seems not a ton of people have tried it yet. In fact, I went into my med equipment supplier office on Tuesday to swap the Airfit cushions for these and they didn't even have them at that location yet (but were able to order them from their warehouse for me). I had primarily been wearing the n30i with Airfit cushion (had tried the p30i, as well, for a couple nights but the small didn't seal well and the medium flared my nostrils uncomfortably too much and tried Dreamwear for a few nights during my compliance window but had horrible leaks) with pretty good fit but felt like it was sticking and pulling on my skin - bearable but a little uncomfortable at times. I ordered one of the new Airtouch cushions from an online supplier to try and have used it for the last week. I was dubious that the fabric would seal well, but my leak rate has remained around the same as it did with the Airtouch cushion and I'm finding it to be far more comfortable.
