need your advices
Merhaba,
1 bölgedeki CPAP kullanıcısıyım. Bana teşhis konuldu ancak APAP sonucu olamaz.
Cihazı (Philips Dreamstation1) kullanmaya başladım. Sonuçlarım genellikle (AHI) 3<10. Ama çoğu gün kaybettiğim hayatlar. Tavsiyelerinize gerçekten gerek yok.

Quote:Hello,
I am a CPAP user in 1 area. I have been diagnosed but it cannot be an APAP result.
I started using the device (Philips Dreamstation1). My results are usually (AHI) 3<10. But most days it's the lives I lose. Your advice is really not needed.

RE: need your advices

Quote:I think you might consider increasing your minimum pressure from 4cmH20 to 6cmH20. It also sounds like you frequently experience nocturnal positional apnea, which you have an AHI of 8.95, so you may want to consider purchasing a soft neck brace to prevent your jaw from being compressed. Positional apnea is when your muscles relax and you sleep in a way that physically blocks your airway, such as sleeping on your back, relaxing your chin toward your neck, or doing a "chin tuck."

Thank you for your answer (gainerfull). Sorry for the bad translation. I will try your recommendations. Is it a problem if the respiratory rate is constantly above 20?

RE: need your advices
Hello again. I have been using a soft neck brace for 3 nights. and I increased my pressure from 4 to 6. I feel more energetic.
After I started using the machine (over 1 month has passed), I have a teeth clenching problem. I haven't figured it out yet but it's getting lighter.
But; My respiratory rate starts normal, increases and remains high (above 21) throughout the night.
I think this is related to device settings.
I'm waiting for your suggestions.

RE: need your advices
We need a zoomed screenshot of the flow rate chart at 3 to 4 minutes of resolution to verify the respiration rate, for example 02:00 to 02:04. I don't think the respiration rate is anything to worry about as your tidal volume (4.5 mL) and minute vent (7.6 L/min)all add up to an appropriate ventilation. The hypopnea suggest a need for higher pressure. You might want to try minimum pressure 7.0.

RE: need your advices
Based on this snip of the respiration rate, it is over 22 bpm, however this particular segment is not normal and has several anomalies. The OA is not real and looks like a breath-hold for a position change. The oscillation in breathing rate suggests some CO2 imbalances from alternately hyper and hypo ventilating. Recommend you cut back on Aflex to setting 2.

RE: need your advices
Hello
I increased my device pressure first to 7 and then to 8. I started using a soft neck brace. The feeling of fatigue has decreased slightly. I don't have leg pain, especially in the mornings. My breathing rate is always high.
Meanwhile, my PAP titration result came out. Autocpap 4-10 pressure

and I put my lowest and highest AHI data

RE: need your advices
That is not a titration result, it is a guess and with the Philips DS1 you will end up with a lot of events using a minimum pressure or 4. You did the right thing. It may be worth trying higher minimum pressures of 9.0 and 10.0 and observing your results and how you feel, and selecting the best for long-term. Your current pressure of 8.0 is working pretty well but leaving some hypopnea. I'm pretty much inclined to ignore the CA events as there isn't much we can do with them.
