Understanding Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome (UARS) Through ResMed CPAP Data
Is there any way to see if I have Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome through the data provided by my ResMed CPAP machine? I am booking an in-lab study, but I assume the wait time could be years. I just want to understand my situation better.

RE: Understanding Upper Airway Resistance Syndrome (UARS) Through ResMed CPAP Data
There is no specific test to determine if one has UARS. It is a differential diagnosis as it is similar in many ways to OSA, but remains untreated by standard CPAP configurations.
Here are some links to studies regarding UARS. The punchline is that studies have shown that UARS is best treated by higher CPAP pressures based on testing of subjects. How much more pressure requires experimentation for each individual.
