SleepyHead and non-readable card.
Hi
I took the card from my ResMed S9 and with it locked I read the data on the card with the help of
SleepyHead software.
Even though the card was locked = No write, when putting the card back, the S9 can't read it ?????
Anyone know why???
Best regards from Denmark

RE: SleepyHead and non-readable card.
Hi SleepDane,
You have to remember to unlock the card when putting back in your Cpap.
RE: SleepyHead and non-readable card.
Ok - thanks OpalRose.
In fact I believe the card was unlocked when I read it with sleepyhead.
Taking it out today it seems to me the lock button was pushed about a 4th of the way towards 'locked'
Anyway - today I went to the sleepclinic at the hospital and they gave me a new ResMed Airsense 10.
Now I never need to remove the card, since I can read my sleepdata in an app.
Thanks for your response though.
Best regards
HB
RE: SleepyHead and non-readable card.
The Airsense 10 is not affected by system files which your computer may write tot he SD card, but the S9 will not tolerate those hidden files. You will get much better data if you use Sleepyhead rather than the app, but now you don't have to worry about locking the card.

Hi again.
Thanks a lot for the info.

Sorry I'm a bit late, but check the Useful Links in my signature line below. One of the links is a procedure to fix a Windows corrupted SD card and how to prevent Windows from screwing it up in the future.
