RE: Got called in early after first sleep test.
The ResMed Airsense 11 Autoset is a fine machine. As you are renting it, you likely will be able to swap it out if it does not sufficiently handle things. We can help make the case for a bilevel if needed.

For now, start with good basic settings.

Min pressure 8
Max pressure 15
EPR 2 full-time
No ramp

Make sure an SD card is in the machine. Once you get some time on it post a chart or two. We can adjust things from there. Go to the wiki https://www.apneaboard.com/adjust-cpap-p...tup-manual and request the manual.

if you have any difficulties, let us know. Also, read the links in my signature for “Download OSCAR” and “Formatting OSCAR charts”. Once you get them posted we can walk you through what we are seeing and suggest ways to deal with it.

For your mask, watch some YouTube videos on fitting and setup. LankyLefty27 has good ones as a starting point.

RE: Got called in early after first sleep test.
Well first night down it took me extra long to fall asleep but after that I remember only waking a few times I did catch air leaking from my chin area a few times when I did wake. Every once in awhile during an exhale if I opened my mouth the mask seemed to come off a little. Tank was empty this morning assuming because the leaks? Let's see how the day goes but man right now I feel so different awake no headache and for the first time in years I didn't wake up with a rock hard tongue and dried out mouth. I know still far to go but man it blows my mind to go from 98 to 10 over night lol thanks all!! I will be getting all set up with an sd card and oscar over the weekend.

You'll want to get OSCAR for free to load onto your computer. OSCAR paired with your ResMed CPAP will allow you to see for yourself the sleep data. You can post screenshots here much like you did with what looks like MyAir. However you'll see a lot more and useful data. You'll be able to tune the CPAP to be the best possible specifically for you.
Mask Primer

Positional Apnea

Attach OSCAR, etc.

First week over is facial hair that bad?? +oscar
Hey guys just about through week 1 after all of your guys recomendations on machines and masks I landed with a ResMed 11 airsense and a f30i full mask.We went camping this weekend and was excited to bring my machine and get maybe a few hours in each night and well i have always been such a heavy sleeper I just hardly noticed it and slept amazing thne first night or 2 went great 7hrs+ I thought, didnt have the sd card in but it was like 83 night 1 and 99 night 2 mainly due to seal on the first night "I think". Since we were camping by night 4 and 5 my facial hair was in a decent amount and I just figured it was no big deal fought the mask like bleeding out my chin so I shaved last night right before bed and man the mask didn't seem to leak at all and let me tell you today has been an amazing day I feel like I haven't slept this good in ages I have just been springing out of bed at like 5:30 vs 6:30 followed by snoozes till 7+. Guess at this point just wondering what all this oscar stuff means and if I should be messing with anything. Here are the last 2 nights Monday night were I leaked real bad but still felt amazing waking up and last night which was my best so far. Ahi during my study was 98. Thanks!

Did you know that camping can re-set your circadian clock? It evidently takes about 2 days for this to happen. Natural darkness and dawn make this happen.
