[split] FYSETC SD Wifi - Possible FlashAir Replacement
RE: [split] FYSETC SD Wifi - Possible FlashAir Replacement
So does this mean that the Airsense uses SDIO for the card? I thought the Fsyetc was only SPI for the sd interface?

It seems that Fysetc has released an 8 GB Wi-Fi SD card. The price was $26 USD. That includes shipping and taxes. I have ordered one to see if it may be an alternative for us CPAP users. BTW: It is SDIO.

Well, it's on a slow boat from China.  So sometime in our future, it will arrive.

Lol! When I looked it up online, it looked a little more plug and play. That setup looks to be a little outside of my skill level. Still looking forward to your tests on it.

Attaching the misleading image from their website, the wifi chip is actually on the SD card in this picture.

That is the older card. The one I displayed is the "Pro" model and is the new one. That old model had all the potential to work. . . until you tried it in the CPAP's SD card slot. First, it was a fitting problem. Once that was addressed, it was discovered that the CPAP didn't supply enough power to drive the card. It worked great in a PC SD card slot.

Here is the link to it: https://www.fysetc.com/products/fysetc-u...nter-parts

@Crimson Nape,

How does that circuit board connect to something like an Airsense 11? I can't find any external ports.

Look at the top of the image you posted. That end is an SD configured shape with connection pads.

RE: [split] FYSETC SD Wifi - Possible FlashAir Replacement
@Crimson Nape,

You said the one I posted was the old version and wont work due to not enough power from the CPAP. I'm talking about the picture you posted as well as the link. It appears the card is inserted into a slot on the PCB board which then needs to be connected to a device via serial or jumpers? Or is that PCB board the dedicated development board?

RE: [split] FYSETC SD Wifi - Possible FlashAir Replacement
The board is for development only. It uses the nonstandard pads on the SD card for firmware operations, via a USB connection with your PC.

By the way, most refer to me as, "Red" (Crimson = Red).
