RE: taking mask off in sleep
look at the lower front of you Resmed and tell us what it says, this makes a very big difference in what we can tell you.
are you truly on plain CPAP with one pressure? if so there should be no pressure kicking up

Some people, for whatever reason, do take the mask off in their sleep and have no memory of doing so. There should be a "mask alarm" feature you can turn on that will sound an alarm when this happens. Look around for it in the menu and if you can't find it, let us know. Make sure you fill out your profile with as much detail as possible about your machine so we can tell you where to look. Anyway, the alarm feature may not work for you if you don't hear it, or if you just keep taking the mask off repeatedly every time you fall asleep. Some people use bobby pins or velcro straps to hold things on until they get used to sleeping with the mask on. After that initial adjustment period they aren't needed anymore.

RE: taking mask off in sleep
Hi ratpack,
WELCOME! to the forum.! Try setting up ,and wearing your mask and using your machine during the evening, as you read or watch tv. This helps you get used to this new way of sleeping. Hang in there for more suggestions and much success to you with your CPAP therapy.
