unable to import data [resolved, see post #20]

unable to import data [resolved, see post #20]
I am new and this is the first time using oscar
I don't have a connection for SD card in my laptop
so thanks to a friend I move the data to a pen drive
I select the Drive D:
but oscar doesn't import anything

what am I doing wrong ?

It would help to know what operating system and version you are using. Windows 10/11, macOS, Linux (which distro).

I use windows 10
I select the Drive D (pen drive) where there are some folders with data
but nothing happens
clicking cpap imported it asks me again to select the folder
and then nothing

in the preferences section I think there should be a record to show what file path the system is using to import the data

after I click choose nothing happens
if later I click import
the green bar is working and at the end this pop up window about find your CPAP data card show up again

You need to copy the entire SD card to an empty folder on your pen drive, then select that folder after clicking import.

After that OSCAR will remember that location, so continue copying the entire SD card to that same folder.

You could get a USB card reader for $10 to $15 and then OSCAR will find the SD card there... Big Grin

I uninstalled and reinstalled same version 1.4 win 64
still the same issue

DEBUG Debug: Drive list size: 0
even if I choose the correct directory
I tried tumb drive and also from C:
of course inside datalog there are days folder with files inside each of them

when I remove the pen drive from the laptop and I select a new folder
in C
where I copied all the content from the pen drive
Oscar
doesn't go to read there
Debug: Drive list size: 0

I even create a new profile in Oscar but still same issue

how can I tell oscar to forget the previous location ?
it doesn't recognize any new location
already uninstalled the software

To select a different import location:
  1. Open File > Preferences
  2. Deselect, Import without asking for confirmation
  3. Save and exit.
  4. Select Import and then select Choose a folder
  5. Now, point to the new location.

After a successful import, you can go back and select the Import without asking for confirmation option, so it will always use the last known location.
