It had a total of 11 hours total use.  I bought it off someone that said he bought it off a estate sale but was not allowed to sale it on ebay.  He seemed like a real honest person and said he did not smoke.

Is there such a policy? What might be the reason?

The Aircurve 10 is a bilevel machine that comes in several models, S, Vauto, ST, ST-A and ASV. I assume you got the S or Vauto? A device with only 11 hours is basically unused and needs no special treatment. Basic exterior cleaning, new tube, mask and filter and a clean humidifier chamber. Reset the patient data in the settings and quick-format the SD card or put a new one in. This device is compatible with OSCAR and we can help you to get settings optimized pretty quickly. Do you have any prior experience with CPAP?

the one i picked up is a Air Curve 10 ST which is also the same model I currently have.  I can send some photos of the current settings on the one I have.  The main issue I am having is i get the area under my nose wet when using my unit.

What are the differences between all the models? is the ST a good model?  I bought this unit for 200 which i felt like was a good deal since i bought the other one for 600.

ST can be useful for lung disease patients because of the timing and backup rate. I don't find it comfortable being square wave, literal inhale static exhale static pressure, on off.

The answer to a correct machine is found within what you're treating. So this prompts the questions, what Apnea types are you treating, are there other illnesses/diseases that may affect the machine type, and what are they?

I am only treating sleep apnea i do not have any other issues.  I do know i require a Bipap machine.. i used to be sleepy all day but after using this for the last 2 years i have plenty of energy..  What do you recommend to use to help me get better sleep?

You probably could have done well all along with VAuto as you've said you're only treating Sleep Apnea. The VAuto has similar timing controls from the ST minus the backup rate, but with variable EPAP and IPAP, affording better comfort and dynamic therapy.
