mouth breathing help
Does anyone have any suggestions to held prevent mouth breathing? I've only recently started CPAP and am having issues with claustrophobia so am trying nasal masks.
I have a chin strap but find it pretty uncomfortable.
RE: mouth breathing help
if the chin strap isn't working for you your next options are mouth tape or a soft cervical collar. sized right it can prevent mouth opening. have you considered hybrid masks like F40? maybe it wouldn't feel as claustrophobic?

RE: mouth breathing help
I tired a F40 and I had the worst reaction to that one actually, I'm hoping the claustrophobia feeling will lessen when I get used to wearing any type of mask.
I'll try the mouth tape and see how that goes. |
