Should I be skeptical of this Wellue data? - jocelyn - 09-24-2023 [attachment=54478]Last night, for the first time, I used a Wellue monitor I bought in November of 2020, and I have a question about the data it gave me, please. It was listed on Amazon as "Wellue Wearable Oxygen Saturation Monitor Built-in Notification, Check Trends of O2 and Heart Rate on Free APP and PC Report." The page is no longer available on Amazon. When I examined the data through downloading into ViHeath and then exporting to PDF, the graphs for oxygen level, pulse rate, and motion seem to be identical for the first and second half of the night. That is, there is a pattern for the entire first half that is repeated identically in the entire second half of the night. That seems - implausible? I am completely new at tracking and am at a loss to explain it. Is this some sort of overwriting issue? Did I do something wrong in downloading/exporting? Did getting up to microwave breakfast around the time the repeat starts scramble something? Fake device? I searched the forum and didn't find an answer, but if it's a known issue, please point me in the right direction. Thank you. RE: Should I be skeptical of this Wellue data? - Crimson Nape - 09-24-2023 Hi jocelyn! - ViHealth will create a binary data file for your session if you first view your data in the ViHealth app. If you navigate to the "/Phone/Android/data/com.viatom.vihealth/files/[some number]/host", you will find the binary files. They will be a 14 digit number, ending with a ".dat". If you would like for me to view this data and verify it, please send this data file to my Dropbox. Here is the URL: https://www.dropbox.com/request/Z7AvAEAahNyegMHb4Snb - Red RE: Should I be skeptical of this Wellue data? - Lucky7 - 09-24-2023 I would. The motion data is duplicated too! Is this the ring? RE: Should I be skeptical of this Wellue data? - jocelyn - 09-24-2023 Crimson Nape, thank you! Unfortunately for those instructions I'm on iPhone. Is there a way to get at it on iOS? Lucky7, this looks physically like the SleepU, maybe with a slightly different display, hard to tell that part from the photos. RE: Should I be skeptical of this Wellue data? - jocelyn - 09-24-2023 I found the iOS instructions elsewhere on the forum, exported a binary, and added it to your Dropbox, Crimson Nape. Thanks again for the kind offer. RE: Should I be skeptical of this Wellue data? - jocelyn - 09-24-2023 Ah, there appear to be two copies of last night's tracking. It seems reasonable to believe that's creating the repeat in the PDF. If I delete one, are they both going to disappear? RE: Should I be skeptical of this Wellue data? - Crimson Nape - 09-24-2023 Of course, I would provide instructions for an Android. If I had provided instructions for an iPhone, you would have been using an Android. . . .Stands to reason. Your file is corrupted. Here is a display in OSCAR: [attachment=54483] The duration is displaying 04:42:08 hours. At exactly 02:21:04 (halfway) it starts repeating your data. Also, look at your maximum for pulse, SpO2, and movement. You had an oxygen saturation level of 165% . . . not too shabby at all. I would try it again tonight, and if it exhibits the same problems, I would contact Wellue Customer Support. I would let them know that you have the file to show them. Holler if I can help, - Red RE: Should I be skeptical of this Wellue data? - jocelyn - 09-24-2023 Thanks a million for the individual help, Red! I'll try it again and see if I have better luck. I hope I don't need to ask their customer service...kinda heard there isn't any. RE: Should I be skeptical of this Wellue data? - Crimson Nape - 09-24-2023 I went back into the file and deleted the duplicated and superfluous data and received the following values. SpO2 Min: 96 Max: 99 Avg: 97.6 Median: 97 95%tile: 98 Pulse Min: 73 Max: 107 Avg: 80.2 Median: 83 95%tile: 96 I'd say you're good for another 10,000 miles. - Red RE: Should I be skeptical of this Wellue data? - CPAPfriend - 09-24-2023 Just wanted to chime in and state that I found their customer service to be some of the best. They've resolved multiple issues for me in the past. Reach out to them! |
