Yes, it's new.  That was the first thing I noticed, cause mine is so low.   Eat-popcorn

RE: BUG REPORTS for new forum software - SuperSleeper - 01-31-2017

These issues have now been resolved with a change of posting buttons & functions:

Quote:2.   [RESOLVED]  Reply button now defaults to Reply with quote mode, rather than a simple reply.

3.   [RESOLVED]  The Quote button is really a "Multi-post quote" button.  Buttons functions need to be more intuitive.

RE: BUG REPORTS for new forum software - SuperSleeper - 01-31-2017

This issue has been resolved:

Quote:4.  [RESOLVED] When clicking on the "Next Newest" link at the bottom of a thread (or other links that lead to the post ID [PID]), it loads the next newest post incorrectly, cutting off the top few lines in the post, so members must scroll up a bit to see the entire post.

I had to change the header from a scrolling header to a fixed header.  This fixed our issue above, at least temporarily.  When the theme developer comes out with his fixed code for the scrolling header, we can consider going back to that if you all wish to do so.

If you could, I'd like some folks to test this fix for me and report back here.  Now links to individual posts won't be cut off at the top, forcing you to scroll up to see the whole post (at least I hope that it works now).

Please let me know if it works - and also, let me know if you'd like to leave it as a fixed header or go back to a scrolling header, when/if the theme developer fixes that part of the code.

EDIT:  If you're still having problems, make sure and clear your web browser's cache and it should help.  (see this link for instructions on how to do that)

Thanks

It doesn't work for me using Firefox. It's still clipped but a maybe little less than before.
bottom of the
Edit if the post has an avatar it is clipped at the bottom of the avatar, at least the bottom of my avatar. If no avatar, it's clipped at the Joined date line.

I'm going to check other posts with avatars of different size.

Edit #2: The clipped location is dependent on avatar size if one exists.

I have noticed that you have to wait for the whole page to load, and then (for me) it scrolls properly to the top of the post.  Just takes a couple seconds to load the whole page though.

I've confirmed it works on Firefox & Chrome on Linux at least.

You might also want to clear your browser cache - not sure if that will help or not.

Let me know if you can.

Anyone else have a report?

Works for me using Firefox 51.

RE: BUG REPORTS for new forum software - DeepBreathing - 01-31-2017

Works for me using Chrome on Win 7.

Also, the revised reply buttons now work correctly. Thanks!

OK, it was a cache issue. It now works after clearing it. Linux Mint with Firefox 51.0.1 - 64 bit.

Cool... just as an FYI, if anyone doesn't know how to clear their web browser's cache, see this link:

Would appreciate a few more reports from folks... please let me know your Operating System (Windows 7, 8, 10, OSX, Linux or whatever) and what browser you're using (Windows Explorer, FireFox, Chrome, etc).

Sure appreciate the help, folks!  Thanks so much.   Coffee
