The autoset might help you find the right pressure setting for you, but it may be better to have it done manually. The autoset can also vary your pressure throughout the night, something that may be beneficial as well. What pressure is your machine set to now? RE: Advice for a newbie - SleepyGreg - 08-07-2012 HI Yellow, I was off work for 6 weeks, and sleeping probably 15 hours per 24 hour period, just to function before I was diagnosed. It took me 4 weeks to sart treatment - test, test, results, ,before I started treatment, then I rented a machine for 4 weeks, and got my own last week. I am only 5 weeks of treatment in, and to be honest, I thought at first it was a wonder pill - use it one night and all your troubles will be over, but that is not the case. As many have said above, each person is different, and treatment will take a different time for each - I am just beginning to see the light at the end of the tunnel, but returned to work within 3 days of starting treatment. Keep at it, and Im sure the benefits will be there for you. |
