RE: Dreamwear Cpap Mask - Cbarrios - 10-05-2016 I'm a side sleeper and found it to be deficient in that area. RE: Dreamwear Cpap Mask - Jimsp1 - 10-07-2016 I'm a side and sometimes stomach sleeper and found this to be a great mask for me. Having the hose come out on top of the head is a great design. I switch from side to side during the night and a nose hose would really get in the way. RE: Dreamwear Cpap Mask - bga123 - 10-14-2016 I asked my DME if I could switch to the Dreamware and they sent me a medium frame without asking me to come in for a fitting. It kept falling off in the middle of the night no matter how tight I tried to get it. I tried getting a referral so I could get it properly fitted, and they said I needed a small frame but they were out of it. I'm having a sleep test on Sunday, so maybe they'll have one there for me to try. If I can get it to fit, I'll definitely switch from the nasal mask I'm using now. I mostly sleep on my back or side. RE: Dreamwear Cpap Mask - bga123 - 10-17-2016 I had a sleep study last night, and after trying on a newer generation nasal mask (smaller than my old old) and the dreamwear mask with small frame and small nose piece, the tech said that it had less leakage than either nasal mask. I'm still not sure that it won't come off in the middle of the night like the medium frame did. I really think they should have an option of a headpiece that splits into two in front of the ears and holds the mask in place from near the neck and back of the head. RE: Dreamwear Cpap Mask - beet - 10-18-2016 I added my adjustment suggestions to the review thread. Try pushing the pivoting hose coupling toward the back of your head and pushing the strap down a bit instead of positioning it straight back. http://www.apneaboard.com/forums/Thread-Phillips-Respironics-DreamWear?pid=179550#pid179550 RE: Dreamwear Cpap Mask - crocket - 10-18-2016 I am in the (greater) Toronto area and unless you are buying online and find a sale, I doubt you will find a DreamWear mask for under $160 Canadian. It was offered at my DME for about $215 Canadian (ie; in a physical store). Hope for your sake I am wrong. Good luck. [/quote] Hello cate1898, Thank you for your tip, he helped me a lot. I've got the dreamwear mask actually for $ 130 Canadian. I have requested the price via e-mail. Already the second business offered me the dreamwear mask for this price. So I just needed to go, pick up and take it home. And I did that. If you want to have the address of the store in Toronto, write me an e-mail. RE: Dreamwear Cpap Mask - JohnnyTenFingers - 10-19-2016 I love love love love it. Only thing is if I get a few days stubble on my upper lip it gets itchy so I need to shave. I have the luxury of spending months in the US and can order CPAP supplies mailed to my US address. I can't say I've actually seen a better price for the DreamWear mask in the US but I haven't been looking at that for about a year. Glad you were successful! RE: Dreamwear Cpap Mask - christinaleigh - 10-21-2016 I loved the feel of the Dreamwear. The headgear slid in the middle of the night because of my hair, so I had to adjust several times. I'm also a toss and turn person, so the soft silicone would collapse and leak air. I switched to the Resmed P10 nasal pillows and prefer them to the Dreamwear. If I didn't toss and turn, I think I would prefer the Dreamwear. RE: Dreamwear Cpap Mask - MitchS - 10-21-2016 How does it work with a mustache and goatee? Sorry. I was thinking of a different mask. |
