Everyone here in Australia pays for all CPAP supplies from their own pocket so I understand. They may get $400 back on a $2,000 machine through private health insurance but that's it. Can't you get them cheap from ebay?

I quickly checked online sellers like Canada CPAP Supply and PAPsmart, both in Canada. They sell Climateline tubing for about $50 CAD. Prices are about $10 less USD from U.S. suppliers, so pretty comparable values.

I am very happy with my fix. The clear vehicle lamination tape is heat sensitive, so by heating it with a lighter after applying it top the mask hose end the clear laminate almost becomes part of the hose end. It is now very secure and leak proof.

I have an industrial large format printer, and after printing I laminate with a thin durable adhesive laminate with a large format laminating machine. I used some edge seal, which is the laminate cut to 1/2" wide.

Interesting. I would never have thought of using laminating film for that and when you first mentioned it, I was thinking of everything but that type of laminating film.
