I believe the intent was to say, Use the Access Point mode instead of the Station mode. If you are unfamiliar with these modes;
The Access Point mode:
Allows a direct connection between a computer with wireless capability and the FlashAir. No other computer will be able to connect to the FlashAir during this connection. The computer will not be able to use its WiFi for any other connection (internet or network) while communicating with the FlashAir.
The Station mode:
Allows the FlashAir to connect to an existing wireless network access point and act as node (like another computer or storage device) on the network.
