The increased use of water is probably due to the leaks. Since your machine has to move more air in order to maintain pressure, the humidifier has to work harder In order to humidify the additional air.

I would do the pressure change first, to the 6-7min 10 max, as well as fixing mouth breathing.
The air leaks can use more water. As well as a change of season, air temp and humidity of the room.

Hi zelda,
WELCOME! to the forum.!
You’ve come to the right place for help.
I wish you good luck as you continue CPAP therapy.

Move the pressure to 6/10 now. That 4 is not working for you at all.

RE: Worsening of the cpap-therapy - zelda - 05-05-2017

Changed the pressure to 6/10 and tried for the first time a Resmed chin strap:
When I woke up, the chin strap was out of position, headache the hole day.  Sad

What went wrong?

6-10 pressure worked except for minor CA. Your pressure is driven by flow limitation, which is not so important by itself. Except for 05:45 leaks were okay, but could be disruptive. If you want to limit max pressure to 9.0 I don't see a problem with that.

man the numbers look good.  make a few more runs at those settings, then maybe bump up a little.  6-10 (or 6-9 as Sleeprider says) may eventually be adjusted to about 8 minimum.  that would help knock out the flow limitations.

you might have the headache from getting used to the chin strap.  this is likely the cause if you your head hurts below temples close to the ears.

Put the chin strap for the moment away.

I got now the first night without major leaks:

Changed ramp time from 10 to 15 minutes:
No curve steep (see red frame) at the begin to maximum pressure for a long time.  Thumbs-up-2

That looks good to me, I'd be happy to leave that for a few weeks.
Just the minor leak you can work on.
