RE: machine died! Now new doctor and new machine - Bjazzman - 05-04-2017 Thank you sleeprider!!!! That was the problem. When I took the cover off the motherboard was loose and adding the screw has brought my cpap back to life!!! RE: machine died! Now new doctor and new machine - Marillion - 05-04-2017 Sleeprider's depth and breadth of knowledge never ceases to amaze me... Glad to hear it worked out for you! RE: machine died! Now new doctor and new machine - Hydrangea - 05-04-2017 Amazing! Great team work! RE: machine died! Now new doctor and new machine - Sleeprider - 05-04-2017 You got lucky. Start working on a new machine. (Sometimes I thing I sound like a nagging, ethnic mother. ) RE: machine died! Now new doctor and new machine - camper2 - 06-27-2019 Wow! What an incredible catch by Sleeprider! Only an expert with extraordinary level knowledge could have known of such an issue, and provided a fix. If you don't tell your insurance company you fixed it yourself, maybe they will pay for a new one. They will probably check up on you, to verify you are using the new one. But keep the old one as a backup for the old one. : Or is that too sneaky? It did fail, and maybe 99% of customers would have given up on it. I personally found I sleep somewhat well with one brand/model of CPAP, but not at all well with another. If you are like me in that, it may be worth it to stay within the same brand and model that works for you. RE: machine died! Most of those suppliers are DMEs in real life that fill out their sales by offering discounted sales online. Y Look at the price of an auto CPAP in 2017. Wow! RE: machine died! Now new doctor and new machine - NValtman11 - 09-05-2022 Start looking for a new doc and re-up your scrip just in case you have another issue. No time like the present! |
