RE: EMF and CPAP - justMongo - 06-07-2017 Of course you must consider that Mongo has been exposed to EMP at "the TRESTLE." And at PAX river. I might be a few brain cells short. Hmmm... maybe I should run for State Assembly. Still too many brain cells. RE: EMF and CPAP - justMongo - 06-07-2017 True in California. Frankly, I'd be more concerned about that dictator in the DPRK popping Nukes. If he can get one close there's: X-ray Prompt Gamma Delayed Gamma (if endoatmospheric) Neutrons EMP (and its variations like HEMP) Thermal Blast/Shock RE: EMF and CPAP - Crimson Nape - 06-07-2017 You forgot to add being totally annoying. He'll worry us to death. RE: EMF and CPAP - Sleepster - 06-07-2017 (06-07-2017, 10:40 AM)janice180 Wrote: First, thank you for responding. Respectfully, I will not, however, get into a discussion of providing references to peer reviewed experiments, etc and trying to persuade you to agree to share my concerns with regard to emfs. There are no such peer-reviewed references for you or anyone else to provide. Quote:I realize this is a hotly contested issue that many people have differing opinions on. There is nothing to contest when you look at the science. Quote:If scientists cannot agree on this, then I wouldn't expect us "regular" people to, either. Scientists are regular people, and there are many of them posting regularly right here on this forum. There is no dispute about this issue in the scientific literature. Heated CPAP hoses are safe. Microwave ovens are safe. RE: EMF and CPAP - trish6hundred - 06-07-2017 Hi janice180, WELCOME! to the forum.! Good luck to you with CPAP therapy. Also the issue of frequency. Microwaves are dangerous because they use very high frequencies... several gigahertz. The power from the machine and the hose is down at 50/60 hertz and is harmless to biological tissue. Even if the machine has a switching power supply internally to operate the electronics and heater using PWM to regulate the temperature, it is still operating no higher than a couple of kilohertz. Again, relatively harmless. RE: EMF and CPAP - Sleepster - 06-07-2017 (06-07-2017, 08:30 PM)CB91710 Wrote: Microwaves are dangerous because they use very high frequencies... several gigahertz. Visible light is of even higher frequencies. The thing that makes microwave radiation dangerous is that the frequency matches the frequency emitted and absorbed by water molecules. But the radiation that the OP observed near her microwave oven is not microwave radiation. Quote:The power from the machine and the hose is down at 50/60 hertz and is harmless to biological tissue. As is the radiation emitted by the microwave oven. Or ... OMMOHY RE: EMF and CPAP - OMyMyOHellYes - 06-07-2017 I figure somebody here will get that.... |
