Reuseable? Whaaaaa? I swap mine out every couple of moths when it looks dirty. There's a hypoallergenic filter option for sale. I use those. The filter is really the only thing I fuss about, since it's keeping stuff out of my lungs. (Yes I know it's the same room air).

Of course the real travesty is when the dog lets out gas near my side of the bed...

It's there (the filter) for the machine, not you. Mine hasn't looked dirty since I got my machine. And yes, I do check it routinely.

Can't help ya with the dog issue though............ Eat-popcorn
