RE: First sleep study tomorrow night, nervous! - discojon - 03-20-2019 I'll talk to the Dr about that. I never even made it to the titration stage so I doubt I can get the Rx without that. I'll update when I hear the results. RE: First sleep study tomorrow night, nervous! - Gideon - 03-20-2019 It is not uncommon to get a prescription for an auto machine set with a range of 4-20 (I many of our opinions 4 is too low). Basically you wouls download SleepyHead, MAYBE OSCAR by the time you are ready, and read the SD Card (make sure you have one) from your machine and you will have your night detailed down to a breath by breath level should you. or we, need to look at it at that Level to see how you are doing. Note what machine you get is very important and now is the time that you have a voice in the mater. RE: First sleep study tomorrow night, nervous! - discojon - 03-20-2019 Thanks. I'll definitely bring that up. I seriously double I could sleep long enough for a full titration in that lab. RE: First sleep study tomorrow night, nervous! - Sleeprider - 03-20-2019 Like you, I did not "tolerate" the clinical test environment and slept poorly. I was given a script for auto CPAP and self-titration. There is absolutely no insurance requirement for a titration test. It just makes more money for the clinic and doctor. You need the diagnosis to demonstrate the medical need for CPAP. RE: First sleep study tomorrow night, nervous! - discojon - 03-20-2019 That's great to know! |
