RE: what is clear airway in oscar - Stom - 08-05-2019 A side note on one minor point. Clear Airway events are Melman, but are actually flagged by your auto adjusting PAP machine. OSCAR just displays the flags the machine creates. Your machine needs to distinguish Obstructive Apnea (obstructed air way) events from Central Apneas /"Clear Airway" (where you forget to ) in order to decide whether to up your pressure. And since APAP can't help with Central apneas (and higher pressure can make them worse) the machine needs to keep track of them so that it doesn't up the pressure if you have them. |
