RE: Not Restful Sleep - jaswilliams - 12-31-2019 Take a look at my signature on how we like the graphs laid out. You still have some snores so it looks like your minimum pressure needs to be higher my be 8 RE: Not Restful Sleep - dodger6768 - 12-31-2019 [attachment=18525] RE: Not Restful Sleep - Sleeprider - 12-31-2019 I agree with advise from jaswilliams on EPAP to 8.0. Please set the PS min to 3 and ps max to 4, and we can work on some of the CA events. Had a mask leak at 5:30, other than that a pretty good night. What do you think? RE: Not Restful Sleep - Sleeprider - 01-04-2020 Something is wrong with the graph in that it is not properly counting event rates. Make sure all event rates on the lower left drop down are on (green). Without pressure and leaks, it's hard to tell what is going on. Not a lot of events. Can you describe how you want to see your results or the feel of therapy improve? What remains uncomfortable? RE: Not Restful Sleep - dodger6768 - 01-04-2020 [attachment=18694]I attached last night's graph. All of the events are on except VS2. MY AHI is real good, but I don't feel rested when I wake up. I have seen in the past that when my snore events are low, I feel better. I am contemplating the purchase of the Night Balance Lunoa. Perhaps my issue is more snoring (positional OSA) than OSA? Thank you for your help! RE: Not Restful Sleep - Sleeprider - 01-04-2020 We have found that positional issues are often more common supine than sleeping on your side, but there are a lot of exceptions. We opted for the soft cervical collar to keep the airway aligned and avoid positional apnea and flow limitation. your charts don't show the typical clustering of positional apnea, but it is certainly possible. A device that is intended to arouse you to move seems a little counter intuitive as sleep is still disrupted. RE: Not Restful Sleep - dodger6768 - 01-04-2020 I have used a cervical collar but switched to a eliminator sleep cushion. I also use a pap cap. Is this as good as it's going to get? RE: Not Restful Sleep - dodger6768 - 01-05-2020 [attachment=18727]Any suggestions for lowering my VS events? I am using the eliminator sleep cushion and a pap cap chin strap headgear combo. I feel that all my issues come from snoring. I raised minimum EPAP to 9. When I had my System One my settings were 12 EPAP and 16 IPAP. I thought by switching to an auto Bi Pap I could lower snoring events much more than I have. AHI seems under control, but still don't feel rested in the A.M. |
