RE: Is it still working? - Gideon - 03-12-2020 The basics are simple. Breathing can range from 1. completely normal with no restrictions 2. Flow limits w up to 50% restrictions to 3. Hypopneas w up to 80% restrictions to 4. Apnea w 80 to 100% restriction. CPAPs can't measure restrictions so they measure flows to determine how restricted the flow is. RERAs are a series of flow limitations ending in arousal. Respiratory Effort Related Arousal. RDI = AHI + RERAs UARS, Upper Airway Respiratory Syndrome is Med#peak for flow limits |
