I think AAM stands for automated airway management. I could be wrong. I believe I have the same or a very similar machine. I don't see why you couldn't have the upper bounds be higher incase you need more pressure.I think six is as low as it gets. Ahh, thanks for the input Kato. RE: Please need some input regarding new PR auto bipap machine. - Gideon - 08-19-2020 Kato, Yes I assumed auto mode, and these settings were based of his previous matching factoring in PS and preventing runaway pressure and to contain initial runaway which would allow us to make appropriate modifications after initial use. He didn't go to 16 previously so it is safe. My max is 25 though I rarely go over 12. FYI 4 is the min, not 6. As I said, I expect changes, this is just a start. RE: Please need some input regarding new PR auto bipap machine. - Phaleronic - 08-20-2020 I've received the unit and set it up per the post from Bonjour. I will upload the oscar data tomorrow. RE: Please need some input regarding new PR auto bipap machine. - Phaleronic - 08-21-2020 Hello Everyone. Here is the first night's data: Most of my stats are all lower with the bipap RE: Please need some input regarding new PR auto bipap machine. - Sleeprider - 08-21-2020 Everything is snores and flow limitations. You need more pressure support. Increase PS to 4.0. Increase EPAP min to 7.0. RE: Please need some input regarding new PR auto bipap machine. - Phaleronic - 08-21-2020 Thank you, I'll make those changes and post the data tomorrow. Regards, Phal RE: Please need some input regarding new PR auto bipap machine. - Phaleronic - 08-22-2020 Here is the second night after adjusting for more pressure. RE: Please need some input regarding new PR auto bipap machine. - Sleeprider - 08-22-2020 Notice that even though we increased minimum pressure and PS, the median pressure is lower. There are minor reductions in OA and H and FL. I would like to see minimum and maximum PS set to 4.5. In OSCAR, you can turn off VS2 which does not affect machine pressure, and the other more relevant events will be clearer.
