RE: Recent increase in Central Apneas and AHI - Gideon - 05-10-2021 The lower one is the one that counts on a PR machine. RE: Recent increase in Central Apneas and AHI - Sleepinwell - 05-10-2021 the upper one is total leaks for the night? Like SD said? RE: Recent increase in Central Apneas and AHI - Gideon - 05-10-2021 Sleepinwell reset the y values on the chart, or you may have it turned off. RE: Recent increase in Central Apneas and AHI - Sleepinwell - 05-10-2021 I checked back when I was on my PR APAP it had two graphs...... my bad. So is the upper graph total leaks for the night? RE: Recent increase in Central Apneas and AHI - Gideon - 05-10-2021 The upper is total, the lower is excessive. RE: Recent increase in Central Apneas and AHI - Sleepinwell - 05-10-2021 sounds like to me that total is more important. Sounds confusing. RE: Recent increase in Central Apneas and AHI - Gideon - 05-10-2021 The fact that different manufacturers report the 'same thing" differently is confusing. OSCAR mostly reports what the manufacturers record on the SD card and we will not change that. RE: Recent increase in Central Apneas and AHI - OpalRose - 05-10-2021 Just to confuse you further.... this shows the difference in how you look at a ResMed leak graph compared to a Respironics leak graph. http://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php/Leak_Rate_Graph RE: Recent increase in Central Apneas and AHI - GrumpyHere - 05-10-2021 (05-10-2021, 08:03 PM)Sleepinwell Wrote: sounds like to me that total is more important. Sounds confusing. There are necessary vs unintentional leaks. Required: CO2 needs to be vented. Your exhalations need to be vented. Unintentional: Mask and mouth leaks are problems that need to be addressed. I'd consider aerophagia a form of leaking. |
