Well, glad it's not just me...(well, sorry for others with this issue!). The twist idea is correct, I think. I seem to have achieved a solid attachment that way. I'll look for any weak spots as Guy mentions.

I'm challenged by simple seeming tasks at times. Maybe a better design may be in the making? I've never had such a finicky mask in this regard before.

I've found slightly pinching the frame while connecting or disconnecting the mask can help.

Glad twisting works. I remove the cushion and clean it with baby soap every morning. At the same time I dry the humidifier chamber. And recently i have to clean my new goggles which minimize  dry eyes from a bit of leaking cpap air. Twisting has always worked for me. I first saw that method in one of the Resmed fact sheets. It is no longer in their literature.
