What was the sleep study? Home or in lab?

This sounds like an at home version.

Yes, I too have some interest in the timing at various oxygen levels. It did get to 77, so what were the stops on the way down, is what I'd be wondering.

Certainly get a recording pulse oximeter, I've used the CMS 50F, the blue and black one that looks like a watch. With the free software, you can look at the data on your PC. Yes, free. When you get OSCAR, it'll incorporate into that as well.

It was at home.

Initial settings look ok? - David Clark - 01-03-2022

After months of waiting due to "backorder and shipping issues" I finally got my machine today. The AirCurve V10 Auto.
I got it all situated where it's going to live and tried on the mask to see how it was going to feel. Granted I've never used a pap machine before but it really felt like a lot of air it was pushing. Do these settings look typical for someone starting out and will the machine adjust as it needs to since it's "auto"?

Who gave you those settings?  Did a Dr. prescribe it.

Yes. The Dr that did the sleep study set up the machine before it shipped out.

It's been not quite a week since I got my BiPap machine. I've used it every night. I do fiddle with the mask some when I put it on but I leave it on all night. I downloaded OSCAR and I really have no idea what any of the data means other than the AHI number. When I did the home sleep study through Singular Sleep it said my AHI was 39.6. I guess we're making progress but I see some nights were still above 5. Since I can only post three attachments these are the first 3, I'll see if I can put the last 3 I have in the comments or something.

Ok...here's the last 3 screenshots.

With the data that's visible, it appears that your higher PS of 5 might be initiating some CA. Did you have issues with CA on the sleep study? If not, these will be treatment emergent Centrals.

Close the OSCAR calendar by clicking on the black triangle in the date. That will allow more left panel info to be shown.

Also -- if you didn't have CA on the sleep study, why are you using a BiPAP rather than good old CPAP? Do you have other problems that need the extra ventilation flexibility?

Best wishes, DS

David, all of your previous threads and this one focus on a single subject, your therapy. For this reason, I am merging them together so anyone who reads your thread will have a complete historical timeline. I will rename it, "David Clark - Therapy Thread".

PS: I love your aviation headphones! Grin
