Had an overnight oximetry study through my Sleep Med practice and the results were the exact same. RE: How accurate is the Wellue O2 Ring? - jaguarman9991 - 08-19-2024 I wore the wellu ring during sleep study and results were lower than the hospitals or finger tape thing, on my index finger, showing my 02 was more stable than my ring showed said I was below 88 percent for 3 mins, but my ring said below 90 for 52 mins my ring showed actual drops and I kept waking up feeling it RE: How accurate is the Wellue O2 Ring? - cps22 - 08-22-2024 If this is of interest: Here are my results from a night when I had an overnight oximetry test and was also wearing the O2Ring. Chart 2: Results from O2ring Chart 3: A comparison of the graphs (Oxi study on top, O2 ring below) Chart 1: Results from oxi study (Please look at file names - I cannot get these to attach in order 1/2/3) It's a little hard to compare the data because the study looks at time < 88% and the O2ring looks at time below 90%. But most data looks pretty similar. The biggest difference seems to be in the breakdown of time in the different levels - I'm guessing that there was a block of time in the 94/95 range that was listed as being in the 95-100% level on the study, and in the 90-94% level by the O2ring. The amount of time < 90 is listed as 1.5% on the study, and as 1% by the O2ring. |
