RE: Tongue Biting from Seizures -- Mouthguards? - otrpu - 11-05-2015 I didn't get too far with my trial last night. Found that my top gums were too sore to sleep with the mouthguard in place. When I was decades younger wore mouthguard boxing and other sports. Those were much softer rubber back then. New ones are silicone and much stiffer than I remember. (Or, maybe I was tougher). Maybe I'll check what sleep pro's recommend. Cheers, RE: Tongue Biting from Seizures -- Mouthguards? - Terry - 11-06-2015 A company called "BioGrind" makes a mouth guard called "Stop Grinding", which is soft, and covers your top and bottom teeth and should keep your tongue out of harm's way. You can Google it to find who sells it. |
