OA or CA - adrift - 05-24-2023 Hi, I'm attaching a screenshot of apneas I am seeing. My AirSence 11 AutoSet marks them mostly as OAs. From what I understand, which I am a beginner CPAP user, these apneas are really centrals. I see the machine tries to increase pressure but it seems to me that it has no immediate affect because I am simply not trying to breath. I want to thank again those who have helped me in the past and please excuse my need to confirm whether this is OA or CA. thanks RE: OA or CA - Old Steve - 05-24-2023 I am no expert, but I would raise your minimum pressure to 8 or so and your maximum to 13 to see if you can eliminate some of the OAs before you do anything else. RE: OA or CA - Crimson Nape - 05-24-2023 adrift - Both of your threads deal with your therapy, so I am merging them together. Please keep all your posts about your therapy in this thread. - Red RE: Should I be concerned with this type pattern - Gideon - 05-24-2023 To be clear, those are definitely obstructive, positional apnea, see my previous post RE: Should I be concerned with this type pattern - adrift - 05-24-2023 Thank you |
