RE: Born with CSA - Sleepwalking - 09-20-2023 This is while on CPAP with 3 liters of oxygen from a concentrator into the air intake of the CPAP RE: Born with CSA - Sleepwalking - 09-20-2023 I didn’t even know that I had brain fog my entire life until I felt relief from it more recently RE: Born with CSA - Gideon - 09-20-2023 What you are doing is innefficient. Read this https://www.apneaboard.com/wiki/index.php?title=Oxygen_Bleed_with_CPAP RE: Born with CSA - Sleepwalking - 09-22-2023 Thank you Gideon. I tried to buy the oxygen bleed adapter but couldn’t find one locally. Now, I see the supplier list and will order through one of those. I have the SD card but I only use an iPad so I have to get someone to help me out with getting the data. Would you be able to suggest a DME supplier where I could buy an ASV PAP without a prescription? After the incident at my mother’s house that I described above, my sleep schedule is messed up and only getting fragmented sleep during the day. RE: Born with CSA - Sleepwalking - 09-28-2023 Here’s a report from the Checkme O2 Max oxygen monitor RE: Born with CSA - Sleeprider - 09-28-2023 (09-22-2023, 04:29 PM)Sleepwalking Wrote: Would you be able to suggest a DME supplier where I could buy an ASV PAP without a prescription? Look for DotMed and search under Respiratory/Bilevel or use the search term ASV. The Resmed S9 VPAP Adapt or Aircurve 10 ASV are both appropriate choices. RE: Born with CSA - Sleepwalking - 09-28-2023 Thank you Sleeprider! The Aircurve 10 ASV is on its way to a new life! For the machine and me! RE: Born with CSA - Sleeprider - 09-28-2023 Glad to help. Let us know how it works out, and consider starting a therapy thread for the ASV. Be sure to have a SD card and reader available. Without data we would be really flying blind with the new ASV. RE: Born with CSA - Sleepwalking - 09-30-2023 Wow! Look at the difference between these two charts. The “bad” one is on CPAP with 3 liters of O2 and the nose pillow with the big opening under the nose The “good” one is on CPAP with 5 liters of O2 and the nose pillow that goes into each nostril RE: Born with CSA - Sleepwalking - 09-30-2023 A few changes that I’ve noticed since starting CPAP one month ago: Depression has gone I can type faster Write faster Pain in my lower right abdomen that I’ve felt for years has gone away The sclera is whiter Much more energy - a cup of coffee made me bounce off the walls for the first time in my life More focused Less forgetful Can see things from a new perspective which has allowed me to see my own mistakes Now understand why my life has fallen apart every few years - it was my only way to recover after non restorative sleep for so long I have hope |
