Spot on Dave. It was my error that I missed when I did my check before posting. Mea culpa!

I usually do my best spell checks after I hit “post”.

I totally agree with you Dave, but Pizza rarely makes any mistake, so I had to drag it out a little.

That "Caldera Releaf" is one I have used in the past. It is good. I now use a "Velpeau Enhanced", it catches the rear of my jaw to keep it from sliding back, yet also keeps my head tilted up. The other one I liked, but is no longer available is "The Eliminator Sleep Cushion". There is hope it will be re-released.

It's ok I probably owed pizza something.

We're a great group ain't we?

The nice thing about pizza is that even when it is bad, it is still good.

The list of things I have been wrong about in my life far exceeds those where I have been correct. Still, I shall sally forth and do my best to help sherpa our brethren through this magical, mystical, ever-frustrating land of CPAP.

The folks on apneaboard are my sherpa, so in a sense it is quid pro quo. I would have given up long ago if not for everyone’s kindness and guidance, both direct and indirect. Now it is my turn to pay it forward as they say.

Thanks for the pointer to the Velpeau SCC. I have always used the Caldera but wondering if another would do the job as well.

After reviewing the OSCAR Reports that were posted in this thread I noticed that hidden within the events is the dreaded  "VB". Respironics algorithm is rather conservative responding to  apnea events. But when you throw Variable Breathing in to the mix it , it gets complicated. Rather than try to explain it, I shall refer you to this tidbit of information.

I have tried to justify VB response to some friends and end up losing the argument with myself.

After you have reviewed it, ask questions and I will try to answer them.

Well done! I missed that entirely.  Thanks

And thanks for the wiki pointer!
