RE: Mold issue / cleaning CPAP (the unit, not tubing), Resmed S9 - Evie1 - 09-13-2024 Hello, were you able to clean the motor effectively? and is the motor within a closed system or do you think this mold can travel through the hose? I have aspergg. in my nose for some reason major sinus issues. Thank you. RE: Mold issue / cleaning CPAP (the unit, not tubing), Resmed S9 - NightOwl42 - 09-13-2024 It was easy to disassemble the unit, but I did not find any visible mold in the motor. Note - cleaning all available parts (not electronics!) with hydrogen peroxide and/or ec3 is probably your best bet. I don't think motor assembly can be disassembled further. If you are dealing with mold sensitivity/toxicity, I strongly recommend finding a mold literate functional medicine doctor. |
