RE: First Post - Can't stay asleep with CPAP - DKane - 04-02-2024 Thanks! I spent the weekend out of town and brought my CPAP. Normally, vacations are rough because I simply can't sleep - BUT I was able to get some decent sleep with CPAP. That kind of thing is basically unheard of with me so I'm really happy! I'm still waking up after every sleep cycle and am trying to figure out how to prevent that. The way I see it, I can continue with the current settings. OR I'm considering one of the following: 1. Raise the max pressure from 15 to 16 - may eliminate obstructive apneas but, as Dave said, these may be due to positional apnea 2. Lower EPR from 3 to 2 - may reduce CAs 3. Increase humidity from 3 to 4. My throat does seem to be dry when I wake up but it is allergy season where I live As always, any help is appreciated. *Continued OSCAR data from post above |
