the chart is below.

RE: ASV Settings - birolapnea - 04-25-2024

- in the sleep report, the pressure settings are "Min EPAP yok" means No Min EPAP" what does it mean?

- There is a large of amount leak. what could the problem be?

- in the sleep report especially in the date section Start point is 00:58:34 Finish point is 06:39:50 but the total count is 03:41:32. is this a bug or something?

- This device is Resmed Auto CPAP but it could be changed to ASV by installing ASV software?

With the info like this, showing an AutoSet at the top and ASV Auto in the second line, it means you have an AutoSet that was hacked probably by AirBreak to open up all the various ResMed machine modes. This isn't ideal as not everything is available to you. It also means reports have missing data like this.

This AutoSet ASV combo isn't a factory machine.

If you're in need of the ASV, you likely need an official ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV to be certain its therapy can be set properly.

Again, I agree with Dave. Were you aware your device is hacked to provide these therapy options? All events coincide with large leaks and the obstructive UA events are clustered indicating positional apnea. There are many breaks in the data, and I don't really trust what we're seeing.

RE: ASV Settings - birolapnea - 05-02-2024

In the two Oscar logs there are two different brands of devices. The first one is Resmed, the other one is Respironics. Both are configured as EPAP 8 and IPAP 12.

As you can see both devices are BIPAP S/T. But the problem is the results(AHI) are completely different. Any idea?

RE: ASV Settings - Sleeprider - 05-02-2024

Neither result looks very good, and that can be a problem with S/T. Without seeing the associated charts, it's hart to know if this is mostly the difference in therapy efficacy or just variation in results.

With both running EPAP 8 IPAP 12, neither look like a good fit. The Philips Respironics especially is missing action taken against the events. However due to the hacked state the ResMed is in, it's not fully capable either, unless maybe the AutoSet mode is fully functioning. Regardless I don't think ST is the right answer.

Second, your leak rates are a hindrance. Mask fit, adjustment, so on need addressed or therapy can't be attainable where there's high frequent leaking.

RE: ASV Settings - birolapnea - 05-03-2024

There are two logs in the attachment. The devices are the same, the pressure is the same, the sleep duration is close to each other but AHI result is different. any idea?

RE: ASV Settings - SarcasticDave94 - 05-03-2024

1. Central Apnea is consistently inconsistent adding or subtracting from the overall AHI

2. The Philips Respironics ST isn't a good fit, it doesn't have a pressure range, just EPAP and IPAP, with a single PS in between, your needs seem to require a pressure range within EPAP, PS, and IPAP, ST can't do this

3. It looks like clustered, Positional Apnea is in effect, needing a soft cervical collar if you can't prevent yourself from kinking your airway, maybe you're using too thick of a pillow causing it

4. Due to the Central component a real ResMed AirCurve 10 ASV might be necessary, unless the CA flagged here are tied to #3 Positional Apnea, I'm meaning an actual ASV not the hacked unit you've gotten, there's things missing due to the hack it seems
