Perhaps the Evora operates differently if you have the mask on and are connected and not connected to your machine. I put my mask on while while standing in front of mirror but not connected to machine and I observed the flap opening and closing as I breathe. It may operate differently when connected to the machine? But because of prior experience I do make sure flap is in closed position after I finish my cleaning regimen.
