RE: Third night on cpap - Alpaca - 07-11-2024 Stacey, it is waking me up right now once a night when I don't have to use the restroom, so the ramp point is well taken. I think to remove that right now I would have to put the minimum back down though, so I am not sure what is better. I don't like that it starts over when IT wakes me up, I may only be up 5-10 minutes then. But I am taking at least that twenty minutes to go to sleep when I go to bed. I am happy to report somehow I am keeping my mouth closed so mask try number three, the nasal "pillows" is something I can currently do. It has a much lower chance of leaking, the slot on the small nasal cushion was almost too wide and would move. I am still tired, my son says that lasts about two weeks while you come off adrenaline keeping you awake? All new to me. Six nights down now. RE: Third night on cpap - HalfAsleep - 07-11-2024 You may continue to feel tired much longer than 2 weeks. Every body is individual, but for me, I was stuporous for a month and only very gradually improved after that. So, don’t expect quick results as far as tired feeling. However, you might just wake up one day with a peculiar sharpened feeling you may not have experienced for years or ever. It’s somehow just different. That’s your brain on a batch of restful sleep. So, from past familiarity, you might think you’re rested after a week or two of XPAP, but wait for it……. RE: Third night on cpap - Alpaca - 07-11-2024 I have noticed I am finding words easier even when I am tired lol. Thanks for the info, I will expect it to get better slowly! |
